I was always fascinated by Buckminster Fuller's work and it's great to see others pursue/expand on such efficiency/humanist-based ideas. Very refreshing, as most of my reading has leaned towards a doomsday scenario.. so it's great to see such positivity. Great film - inspiring! * * * * * * * * Jacques Fresco is an admirable man. I really liked the movie. One should ask questions when an entire society is dependent on the health of banks and stock markets when it doesn't change the amount of peas or iron on the planet. I just wanted to say thank you. Your hard work has resulted in a stunning and original vision. When watching Future By Design I was deeply touched by your caring for humanity. I wish you and your ideas the best that fortune can offer, and want you to know that I am one more among many that you have inspired with a very positive message and personal example. I believe the future will be better for it and we will all work to make it so.Chris Grayson, integrated Art/Design Director, writes on his blog:

Jacque Fresco, eccentric enough to be endearing, has made a living out of doing his own thing and pursuing his passions. Anyone who has so uncompromisingly followed their own vision should be respected, admired and even celebrated. The movie might not convince you of Jacque’s vision of the future, and to Gazecki’s credit I don’t think that was the movie’s intention, but it does let you step inside the mind of Fresco, and see one possible world through his mind’s eye.

The whole project -- The Venus Project, Jacque's amazing work and visions for our future, Future by Design the movie -- all are nothing short of inspirational. For William Gazecki to have put together this subject and make it into a film is also nothing short of inspired. It is just such a shame it hasn't been shown at cinema's around the world, like 'An Inconvenient Truth.' I believe that Future by Design is more relevant because it proposes so many alternatives to the problems we are having right now, instead of just reminding people we have and still are messing up our home. Excellent movie introducing us to the best possible future. Mr. Gazecki should be proud of this achievement.Robert "Glad" McGough, Australia, wrote:

Thank you all for bringing an inspirational blast of hope into my dreamer's existence. I may not have been blessed with the drive and courage to develop my ideas in the real world as Jacque Fresco has done, but just knowing that such projects actually exist makes me feel a whole lot better.

I found Future by Design to be a great inspiration and it certainly will help young people imagine better futures. The thing I always struggle with is finding good visual resources to inspire the imagination. There's lots of images of destruction out there, but not enough that point to positive ways forward. So many thanks to Jacque for his inspiring work. The world needs more of it.

This movie really surprised me-I knew nothing about Jacque Fresco going into it and if I'd been told the film contained a lot of interviews with an 89 year old man, I wouldn't have been interested. But I was immediately drawn into the wild, rich, complex, and logical mind of Fresco. Hat's off to William Gazecki for deftly piecing together the story of this unique human's continuing contributions to the world. This should be required viewing in all high-schools as an example of what can happen when inspiration is given free reign.Sid Kaskey, Head Librarian for the Miami Office of International Law Firm, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, writes:

How a visionary develops is as interesting as the vision; no person springs fully developed at birth. William Gazecki's "Future by Design" documentary skillfully blends the visionary with the vision. Jacque Fresco is a unique man with a unique vision. If you have any interest in how a society can develop and how one man came about with this perspective, then this film is certainly worth viewing.Wasel Safwan, an Artist living in Dubai, writes:

I am surprised. I just wanted to say it! This movie is amazing! I wish we could build something like that here! Jacque Fresco is a living legend - perhaps the most outstanding thinker of our times. Director William Gazecki has indeed paid great homage to Jacque by highlighting his life, his philosophy, and his stunning technical achievements. In doing so, he has also created a priceless historical legacy for people everywhere, and for generations yet to come.Steve Huntsman, Chairman-Spokesman for MyVantone.com, writes:

This film changed my life. Easily the best and most important documentary film I've ever seen. Future by Design is the solution to the world's destructive problems. The UNITED NATIONS needs Jacque Fresco's technologies to be at the forefront of their mission. Future By Design should be screened to all the leaders of the world as well as every educational institution. It just makes clean, logical sense -- which seems to be lacking in today's world.Sister Brenda Walsh of the Racine Dominicans, Racine, Wisconsin, writes:

The story of Jacque Fresco is inspiring and sends the message that people can be creative and contribute to a better world at any age. I liked the idea of thinking about "Another possible world" than the one we now know and plan to start imagining and thinking that way. If enough people do that, actions and the new design will follow.Harry Gaskill, leader of the Sustainability Council of Ventura County and an international relief worker says:

I find it very refreshing to learn of people that are engaged in devising design solutions that would make our living more sustainable and pleasant. It was impressive to see the effort and dedication to developing more adaptive designs without any serious patronage or recognition. To see Jacque Fresco giving tours and displaying his life's work to a few curiosity seekers was sad, when you realize the number of people that could be genuinely inspired and taught by this creative genius. There are, I think, many of us that would love to have the opportunity to work on solutions for today's problems, but there is not the support of any effort that would be for the common good (but always plenty of incentives for the profit of a few at the expense of us all).Sharon Miller, Author, Know the Name, Know the Person, writes:

This is a remarkable film which demonstrates our future clearer than anything coming out on the market today. It is both thought provoking and emotional as it is a call for us to wake up to our innate abilities as creators so that we consciously make decisions as opposed to randomly or via propaganda. A remarkable film for anyone who wishes to listen to reason and not be caught in emotion.Kim Fabre, a Dentist in Bradenton, Florida who provides a movie lending library to her patients writes:

Your DVD is so instrumental in providing a beautiful and feasible vision for people to hold during these challenging times. I have about worn out my 2 copies trying to get as many people as possible familiar with Jacque Fresco's exciting work. My 12 year old son is also very excited about Jacque Fresco and his concepts and designs. Kids are much more able to envision this happening in their lifetime...they are ready now for these ideas to be acted upon. Thank you for all you do to make this world a better place, enlightening viewers with a beautiful vision of possibility.Karen Brandt, retired Aircraft Mechanic for American Airlines writes:

I found Future by Design engaging and thought provoking. Mr. Fresco's refreshing approach to problem solving is very much needed in these times, and so well illustrated by Mr. Gazecki. It deserves a wide audience.Sociologist and writer, Robert Schilling, says:

This documentary is well done both technically and artistically. It is also thematically relevant to our culture and the state of the world today. Jacque Fresco was always seen as being ahead of his time, and finally, at the age of ninety, his time has come. If we need new leadership now, here it is! William Gazecki is to be congratulated for having insight enough to see the value of Mr. Fresco's work, and for being able to capture it's essence so professionally and effectively.Charles Miller of British Columbia writes:

Mr. Gazecki has captured Jacque Fresco's life's dream well. I would love to see the vision of Jacque's new world come to some type of fruition. The world needs to know about this man. The movie depicts Mr. Fresco as the true visionary he is, and the in depth presentation of his concepts and design are remarkable.
